Here’s the thing, in an ideal world, we wouldn’t have child support. In an ideal world with effective social safety nets, comprehensive basic income, universal health care, affordable child care, and accessible family planning resources, child support would he archaic and unneeded. Right now its an imperfect solution in a deeply flawed society.

But I absolutely fucking hate it when people drag it into the abortion debate.

A utopian society.

I wish it were possible, but we can’t even raise taxes to repave roads (in cities with NO mass transit) that everyone uses. How are we ever going to convince the world that a holistic approach to humanity is a good idea ESPECIALLY when childrearing is linked to a loss of a woman’s virtue.

Vote out all the republicans and vote in true progressives. Reduce our absurd military spending and rewrite tax law.

Or ya know, eat the rich and redistribute their wealth. Which ever.
