Vampires headcanons in modern times:

(I know lots of people do these but I just… Really love vampires)

Perhaps this is a bit contoverial but very few vampires have a gothic style.

They tend towards clothing that reflects their era though a majority tend to try to tailor those to the time and place they live in.

Then there’s those assholes, you know, the ones that straight up talk, walk, and act like a vampire to piss people off and raise suspicion. (I’m not saying lestat, but yeah i am)

Sunglasses are a MUST

Sun isn’t that much of an issue with tinted windows, umbrellas, and sunglasses.

Vampires lean towards arts, histories, and medicine. Though quite a few get into criminal activity. (Cmon who wouldn’t)

Most don’t actually worry about erasing historical evidence of themselves, i mean, who’s gonna believe they are actually immortal.

Vampires that were turned at different ages often form family groups to avoid suspicion. (I.e elder vampire, middle aged, and children all centuries old but pretending to be a multigeneration family)

Vampire culture is QUEER AF. Whether Because there is a more open atmosphere or because of time to figure ones self out.

Trans Vampires, look. We know they exist. Hormones work differently but at the right dose can effect the body of a vampire. (Hence vampire docs)

Many vampires are activists. They have seen times change and know that equality and acceptance should win out.

There are… Cruel vampires. But i like to think they get their ass whipped REAL FAST.

Animals shy away from new vampires but older ones learn how to be less intimidating and actually tend to draw animals in.

Vampires tend to care for the environment. (They’ve been on earth for a while and probably still will so take care of it!)

When it comes to war vampires lean towards spy work over fighting.

Charities. Hear me out, all that time to amass money, you dont think that vampires donate a hella large amount to charity?
